The skills assessment allows you to take stock of your career in order to help you define or validate a coherent professional project.

The skills assessment is often linked to dismissal, departure from the company, a desire to progress in the position or a move towards another profession. It answers your questions for good management of your career and allows you to find a fulfilling job.

Throughout this process, a coach certified by the international Ikigaï center helps you enhance your experience and your profile, whatever your age, status or level of education.

Completely confidential, authorization from your employer is not necessary and you do not need to inform them of your intention.

What is the purpose of the appropriate IKIGAI skills assessment?

The appropriate skills assessment uses artificial intelligence to provide human support for a professional transition that suits you.


The skills assessment is a tailor-made support guided in order to develop a realistic and achievable professional project while being supervised by a coach who's certified by the international center of the IKIGAI. The goal is to find the balance between your aspirations, your skills and the professions of the future.


The appropriate IKGAI skills assessment allows you to:

  • Give meaning to your career and concretely define the next steps.

How does it work?

The accompaniment is divided into several so-called “discussion/accompaniment” sessions and others of “personal reflection/introspection”. The skills assessment must include three phases and the international center of the IKIGAI performs this service by respecting this procedure. It works as follows:

Phase 1: Preliminary phase:

  • Analysis of the beneficiary's request: presentation interview of the beneficiary with the coach.
  • Determination of the most suitable format for the situation and for the beneficiary's needs.
  • Joint determination of the procedures needed to carry out the coach's assessment. He informs of the conditions to have in order to correctly carrying out the skill-assessment as well as the methods and techniques of implementation.

Phase 2: Investigation phase:

Personal assessment and orientation and personality tests (IKIGAI process):

  • Analysis of personal and professional background.
  • Exploration of values, interests, motivations and personality.
  • Identification of professional skills, soft skills.

Business/market analysis and documentary research (professional booklet):

  • Exploration of possible career paths.
  • Analysis of skills: knowledge, know-how and interpersonal skills.
  • Definition of the professional project that best meets your interests (career development, reorientation, refocusing on work, etc.)

Phase 3: Conclusion phase:

  • The action plan and the summary are read and readjusted if necessary.
  • Appropriation of the detailed results of the investigation phase.
  • Identification of the conditions and means favoring the realization of the professional project(s).
  • The summary is strictly confidential and can only be given to the beneficiary.

The IKIGAI International Center offers you 3 options

The IKIGAI International Center offers you 3 options


OPTION 1: Short-term individual support :


6 hours of coaching / 7 hours to pass your IKIGAI / 3 hours of e-learning / 8 hours of practical work and as a bonus a module on managing emotions 1900 euros.


OPTION 2: Mid-term individual support :


9 hours of coaching / 7 hours to pass your IKIGAI / 3 hours of e-learning / 5 hours of practical work and as a bonus a module on managing emotions 2490 euros.


OPTION 3: Long-term individual support :


11 hours of coaching / 7 hours to pass your IKIGAI / 6 hours of e-learning with a bonus module on managing emotions and an entrepreneurship or job search module 3150 euros.


The total duration of the skills assessment includes interview times (face-to-face or remote) and guided work times using the professional booklet. Personal research time and time devoted to business surveys are not included in the total duration of the skills assessment.

What teaching methods are used?

During the skills assessment, you will be accompanied by a coach certified by the International Ikigai Center.

Complete the professional booklet


This professional booklet will be filled out gradually with the help of the coach and will punctuate the progress of the skills assessment.


This professional booklet will allow you to prepare for change, build a meaningful project, better understand your needs, your motivation, explore all possibilities, identify your skills and evaluate your potential, validate your project and develop your action plan.


The coach must write a summary covering the structuring points of the approach, in particular the project, the assets for success as well as the action plan. This summary is given exclusively to the beneficiary.

How to finance a skills assessment?

The complete assessment has a cost and it represents an investment in the short, medium and long term but so impacting in your personal and professional life.

Funding exists to help you with this process.

Fundable via the DIF, then the CIF and today via the CPF, your skills assessment can be covered, subject to certain conditions.
